SAQ Type D for Merchants

All other merchants who meet the requirements for completing an SAQ but are exempt from all other types

SAQ D for merchants is applied by all merchants who do not meet the criteria for any of the other SAQs.

Merchants, based on the size of transactions they have per card brand per year, fall into one of the four levels that exist.

Be careful, as we are not referring to turnover but to the number of transactions. In detail:

Level 1 - Over 6 million transactions per year

Level 2 - Between 1 and 6 million per year

Level 3 - Between 20,000 and 1 million per year

Level 4 - Less than 20,000 transactions per year ATTENTION:

If you fall under level 1, then you will need to use a QSA (Qualified Security Assessor) for your certification.
